A certificate is awarded for each course completed. You will be awarded a General Medical Scribe certificate and an additional certificate for each specialty course you complete.

Each of our certificates comes with a unique identification number. You can provide this certificate to future employers or graduate schools and they can contact us to verify the authenticity of the certificate and your completion of the course. The certificate is good for all states.

General Medical Scribe Course Description

This course will prepare you to work as a medical scribe in a variety of clinical settings. You will learn the fundamentals of the medical scribe profession, including common presenting symptoms and the basics of medical documentation. After completing this course, you will know what is expected of you before your first day on the job. Video lessons are followed by quizzes to reinforce your learning. We offer specialty courses in a variety of clinical areas that build on the General course to enhance your knowledge of scribing in a specific field of medicine. You can also purchase additional practice scenarios for more real-time scribing practice.

Extra scribing practice: Another package is available with 7 additional practice scenarios for a total of 8 scenarios. These scenarios come from a variety of clinical situations and allow you to practice scribing in real-time.
